Resignation / Termination of Employment
Unless otherwise stated in your Employment Contract, both parties may terminate the contract of service at anytime by giving the required notice or payment in-lieu as stated on your Employment Contract.
Earned or accrued leave or unconsumed public holidays shall not be used to offset any portion of the period of notice without the approval of the Management. However, the Company reserves the right to waive the full notice or part of the period of notice in special circumstances. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to terminate without notice, the service of any employees found guilty of misconduct inconsistent with the fulfillment of the expressed or implied conditions of service.
On termination of employment, any other properties belonging to the Company must be returned to the HR Department on your last day of work.
Your salary may also be hold up to one (1) month prior to release of tax clearance by IRAS for foreign employees.
Repatriation for foreign employees
The Company will pay the air ticket, check-in luggage allowance and transportation to Airport of Work Permit Holders should they resign/terminate their contract. However, foreign employees holding S-Pass and E-Pass will need to buy their own air ticket for repatriation.
Retirement
In accordance with the Retirement and Re-employment Act (RRA), the minimum retirement age is sixty two (62) years. Employees who turn sixty two (62) can continue to be employed in the Company up to sixty seven (67) if you:
Are a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident;
Have serve the Company for at least three (3) years before turning sixty two (62);
Have satisfactory work performance, as assessed by the Company
Are medically fit to continue working
Are born on or after 1 July 1952
If you are eligible for re-employment but the Company is unable to offer you a position then we will:
Transfer the re-employment obligation to another employer, with your agreement, or
Offer you a one-off Employment Assistance Payment (EAP).
Your re-employment contract should be for at least one (1) year, renewable every year up to age sixty seven (67).
